Position Overview: The Junior Financial Analyst - Business Intelligence will support the finance team by providing analytical insights and reporting to enhance decision-making processes. This role involves analyzing financial data, developing reports, and assisting with business intelligence projects to drive performance improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret financial data to identify trends, variances, and insights.
  • Reporting: Prepare and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.
  • Business Intelligence: Assist in the development and implementation of business intelligence tools and solutions.
  • Forecasting: Support financial forecasting and budgeting processes through data analysis.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with finance, accounting, and other departments to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Ad-Hoc Analysis: Conduct ad-hoc analyses to support strategic initiatives and decision-making.
  • Documentation: Document processes and procedures related to financial analysis and reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in financial analysis, business intelligence, or a related role (internships and relevant coursework may be considered).
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
  • Familiarity with business intelligence software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
