Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Financial Analyst to join our Financial Reporting and Analysis team. The ideal candidate will assist in the preparation and analysis of financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. This role is perfect for an entry-level professional eager to develop their financial skills and contribute to the organization's financial health.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Ensure reports are accurate and submitted on time.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and anomalies. Support senior analysts with financial modeling and forecasting.
  • Reconciliation: Perform account reconciliations and support the resolution of discrepancies. Maintain and update financial records.
  • Documentation: Prepare and maintain documentation for financial transactions and reports in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Support: Provide support during internal and external audits. Assist with ad-hoc financial analyses and special projects as needed.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements. Assist in the implementation of new financial policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Experience: 0-2 years of experience in financial analysis or a related role, preferably in a corporate environment.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Certifications: Working towards or completion of relevant certifications (e.g., CFA Level 1, CPA) is a plus but not required.
