Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Financial Analyst to join our Financial Risk Management team. This entry-level position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in assessing and managing financial risks, contributing to the company's risk management strategies, and supporting senior analysts in evaluating and mitigating potential financial threats.

Key Responsibilities:

• Risk Analysis: Assist in identifying, analyzing, and quantifying financial risks associated with various business activities and investments.
• Data Management: Gather, compile, and analyze financial data to support risk assessments and reports.
• Reporting: Prepare and present regular risk assessment reports, including risk indicators, trends, and mitigation strategies, to senior management.
• Modeling: Help develop and maintain financial models used for risk analysis, forecasting, and scenario planning.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal risk management policies.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as Finance, Operations, and Compliance, to gather information and provide insights on risk-related matters.
• Research: Conduct research on market trends, economic conditions, and other factors that may impact financial risk.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of risk assessments, methodologies, and findings.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Experience: 0-2 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, risk management, or a similar role is preferred but not required. Internships or academic projects related to financial analysis will be considered.
• Skills:
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
  • Knowledge of financial risk management principles and practices is a plus.
  • Familiarity with risk management software and tools is advantageous.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
