Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Financial Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will support the financial analysis function by providing insightful data analysis, financial modeling, and reporting. You will work closely with senior analysts and managers to assist in decision-making processes and help drive the company's financial strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Create and maintain financial models to support various business initiatives.
- Help prepare presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance and operational metrics.
- Assist in the development of financial strategies and business plans.
- Support ad-hoc analysis and special projects as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and validate financial data.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in a financial analyst role or a similar capacity (internship experience is acceptable).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Experience with financial modeling tools and software is a plus.
- Basic understanding of financial statements and financial reporting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with financial planning and analysis (FP&A) in a financial services environment.
- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.
- Familiarity with financial databases and reporting software (e.g., Bloomberg, FactSet).
