Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Financial Analyst to join our Financial Services Operations team. In this entry-level role, you will support various financial analysis and reporting functions, contributing to the optimization of our financial operations and ensuring accurate financial information.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, forecasts, and analyses to support business decisions.
- Analyze financial data, including revenue, expenses, and profitability metrics, to identify trends and variances.
- Collaborate with senior analysts to develop and maintain financial models and dashboards.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes by preparing journal entries and reconciling accounts.
- Monitor and evaluate financial performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Conduct ad-hoc analyses and financial research as required by management.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, accounting, or a similar role.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and communicate complex financial data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, and data analysis.
- Experience with financial software and ERP systems is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
