Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Financial Analyst to join our Financial Services Operations team. In this entry-level role, you will support various financial analysis and reporting functions, contributing to the optimization of our financial operations and ensuring accurate financial information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports, forecasts, and analyses to support business decisions.
  • Analyze financial data, including revenue, expenses, and profitability metrics, to identify trends and variances.
  • Collaborate with senior analysts to develop and maintain financial models and dashboards.
  • Support the month-end and year-end closing processes by preparing journal entries and reconciling accounts.
  • Monitor and evaluate financial performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses and financial research as required by management.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, accounting, or a similar role.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and communicate complex financial data.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, and data analysis.
  • Experience with financial software and ERP systems is a plus.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
