Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Financial Analyst to join our Treasury Management team. This entry-level role will support the Treasury Manager in managing cash flow, optimizing liquidity, and ensuring financial stability for the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in financial analysis, a keen interest in treasury operations, and the ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cash Flow Analysis: Assist in monitoring daily cash flows, forecasting cash requirements, and managing short-term investments to ensure optimal liquidity.
• Bank Account Management: Help maintain relationships with banking partners, monitor bank account activity, and support bank account reconciliations.
• Treasury Reporting: Prepare and analyze reports on cash positions, liquidity, and other key financial metrics to support decision-making processes.
• Investment Analysis: Support the evaluation and analysis of investment opportunities, including risk assessment and return analysis.
• Compliance and Controls: Ensure compliance with internal controls and policies related to treasury operations, and assist in the preparation of audits.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains within the treasury function.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Experience: 0-2 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, treasury management, or accounting.
• Skills: Strong analytical skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Knowledge: Basic understanding of treasury functions, financial markets, and investment principles.
• Attributes: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; strong problem-solving abilities; and a proactive attitude.
