Job Description

Role Overview

We are seeking a smart, highly motivated, and eager-to-learn junior candidate to support FIX onboarding and production support for equity trading workflows.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to build expertise in electronic trading, FIX connectivity, and production support. The role supports the FIX gateway and works closely with trading desks, technology teams, and external clients.

Responsibilities

Assist with FIX (4.2 / 4.4) onboarding, including session setup, testing, and configuration
Monitor and support FIX gateway and trading applications in a production environment
Troubleshoot connectivity, message flow, and order routing issues
Support application releases and system enhancements
Assist with log analysis and issue investigation
Document processes and contribute to team knowledge sharing
Work closely with traders, technology teams, and external clients to resolve issues

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related field
0 3 years of experience (internships or relevant academic projects are acceptable)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Intellectual curiosity and eagerness to learn complex trading systems
Basic knowledge of Linux administration
Scripting skills such as Python, Bash, or Java preferred
Understanding of FIX concepts or similar structured messaging formats (e.g., XML)
Strong communication and collaboration skills

Ideal Candidate Profile

Early-career candidate with strong academic background
Comfortable working in a fast-paced trading environment
Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to grow within electronic trading technology
Interested in developing expertise in FIX connectivity and trading infrastructure
