About the Job
SIEMPRE, a multicultural creative marketing agency, is seeking a contract Junior Graphic Designer to join our team.
We are seeking a quality-driven and detail-oriented candidate with a strong foundation in graphic design and illustration with at least 1+ years of professional experience.
As a Junior Graphic Designer, you are required to work closely with our Creative Director and design team to develop inspiring artwork that will attract our target audience. You will be responsible for creating original layouts for event and promotional materials, resizing and updating templates, and assisting with brand refreshes and guidelines for individual clients.
What You'll Do
As a Junior Graphic Designer, you'll be responsible for:
- Creating and designing various materials for digital and print including original designs and layouts, simple motion graphics, and client assets
- Ensuring projects are completed in a timely manner with a quality product
- Collaborating with fellow designers to develop new approaches for creating more-expressive graphics for clients
- Working with a wide range of media and graphic design software
- Implementing feedback and changes whenever possible
- Creating visualizations that convey accurate messaging for the project.
What You Need
The ideal candidate for this position has:
- A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics
- Minimum of one year experience in graphic design/illustration
- Proficiency in programs such as Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere (Figma proficiency is not required but is a plus!)
- Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and web
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Time management and organizational skills
