Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Analyst to join our Transportation Investment Banking team. As a Junior Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting senior team members in executing transactions and conducting industry research within the transportation sector. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in investment banking while specializing in the dynamic field of transportation.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the execution of mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and other financial advisory services for transportation sector clients.
• Conduct financial analysis, including building and maintaining complex financial models, performing valuation analyses, and preparing presentations and pitch materials.
• Conduct industry research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks in the transportation sector.
• Support due diligence efforts by gathering and analyzing relevant data and assisting in the preparation of transaction-related documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including legal, accounting, and external advisors to facilitate deal execution.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Previous internship or work experience in investment banking, finance, or a related field is preferred but not required.
