We are seeking someone experienced in the healthcare industry reviewing, annotating, and documenting medical notes. You should have great attention to detail and are comfortable conducting repetitive work utilizing medical data. The core aspect of this role will be to work intensively with product, data scientist and engineers and provide domain expertise annotations aiding the machine learning NLP models. This is a good fit if you have a background in the healthcare industry and are looking to work at a digital health startup. This role is based in the New York City Metropolitan Area and is a hybrid role working at least two days per week in our NYC office. Areas of responsibility: Annotating medical files and clinical data and performing quality controls on the processed outcome Responsible for annotating and/or quality-reviewing clinical data for symptoms, diagnosis, treatment procedures, medications, adverse events, laboratory results etc. Apply your comprehensive knowledge in medical terminology, and coding procedures for data curation and database modeling Work with data science team and NLP models to validate automatic annotations The ideal candidate will be: Medical degree or certification (PA-C, MD, etc.) or 3+ years of professional working experience reviewing medical records in a clinical setting In-depth familiarity with general medical concepts and terminology Eye for excellence, focused on details Positive attitude and patience Familiarization with medical code systems such as ICD, SNOMED, LOINC are a nice to have Professional experience with SQL is a nice to have The US base salary range for this full-time position is $82,354 to $120,478. Salary ranges are determined by role and level. Compensation is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
