Junior .NET Developer (Hybrid Atlanta, GA)

Job Overview

We're seeking a Junior .NET Developer to join a collaborative application development team supporting a large-scale, enterprise COTS system. This role is ideal for a recent undergraduate graduate looking to start their career in software development while working in a hybrid environment.

You'll assist with designing, coding, testing, debugging, and maintaining secure, maintainable applications while translating business requirements into technical solutions.

Work Location & Duration

  • Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid metro Atlanta candidates only)
  • Duration: 5+ months contract (possibility of extension)

Eligibility Requirements (Mandatory)

  • Must be local to Metro Atlanta
  • US Citizen or Green Card holder (Permanent Resident)
  • Recent undergraduate graduate
  • Georgia Tax Clearance Letter required at time of submission
  • Must pass background check and fingerprinting
  • Must be compliant with Georgia state tax obligations
  • Candidates with felony convictions or unpaid/overdue taxes are not eligible

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in designing, developing, testing, and debugging applications
  • Support configuration and maintenance of a large enterprise COTS platform
  • Translate business and technical requirements into secure, maintainable code
  • Analyze application or system issues and support resolution
  • Create and maintain technical documentation
  • Work collaboratively in a small, agile team environment

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field
  • 1+ year of experience with any .NET programming language
  • 1+ year of experience working with SQL
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a small team
  • Demonstrated resilience and willingness to learn

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Microsoft VB.NET
  • Exposure to enterprise software development environments
  • Familiarity with secure coding practices
