Job Title: Junior Project Manager

Location: Delmar, NY (Hybrid)

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications

Responsibilities:

  • Lead projects from initiation through closeout, utilizing methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, and Kanban.
  • Facilitate meetings with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and align on project objectives.
  • Develop and implement Enterprise Change Management strategies to support the adoption of new processes, systems, and organizational structures.
  • Conduct Project/Release retrospectives to evaluate outcomes and establish criteria for success, ensuring ongoing improvements in project delivery.
  • Contribute to the establishment of PMO standards and processes, including the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and using metrics like Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).
  • Lead elicitation sessions with executives, managers, developers, and subject matter experts to gather requirements through various methods, including interviews and surveys.
  • Oversee projects involving Case Management applications that support workflows, case lifecycles, and documentation management.
  • Collaborate with state government entities to understand and navigate project requirements and regulations.
  • Prepare project documentation, status reports, and presentations for stakeholders.
  • Project management experience leading projects from initiation to closeout.
  • Facilitating meetings with stakeholders, including executives and technical resources.
  • Working on Enterprise Change Management strategies and activities.
  • Facilitating Project/Release retrospectives and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Contributing to PMO standards, processes, and internal controls.
  • Leading elicitation sessions with stakeholders.
  • Experience with Case Management applications in Human Services, Law Enforcement, or Justice domains.
  • Working in State Government.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Arts, Humanities, Social Sciences, or Education.
