Junior Recruiter

We are looking for a remote Junior Recruiter in the MD/DC/VA Metro area. We offer a clear career path for growth as an individual producer, leader, and business advisor.

Role Expectation:

• Understand and discuss organizational needs.

• Engage with community services, colleges, agencies, and online platforms.

• Customer Service, source, screen, evaluate, and review candidates.

• Create and post job descriptions.

• Build a pipeline of potential candidates.

• Manage relationships with candidates and hiring managers by maintaining communication.

• Support senior leadership in enhancing recruitment processes.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1-2 years of recruitment experience, with a focus on IT roles. Experience with U.S. government projects or government contracting is strongly preferred.

• Basic understanding of IT roles, technologies, and certifications commonly required in government contracts (e.g., security clearances, DoD 8570 certifications, etc.).

• Two 5-hour shifts per week

• Priority for applicants residing in a HUBZone area .

• Remote, part-time.

• Proficiency in phone communication, recruiting, interviewing, diversity support, purposeful, professionalism, and punctuality.

• Tech-Savvy: Proficient in using recruitment tools and platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and job boards.

• Open-minded, excellent communication, patience, independence, critical thinking skills, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), Customer Relationship Management (CRM) experience, and MS Office 365 proficiency.

• Familiarity with security clearance requirements is a plus; however, this position does not require an active security clearance.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, human resources, information technology, or related field.
