Position Overview: The Junior Revenue Analyst will assist in analyzing and managing the revenue streams of Augmentjobs. This role involves monitoring revenue performance, preparing financial reports, and supporting the senior analysts in various revenue-related tasks. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of revenue recognition, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Revenue Analysis:

   • Monitor and analyze revenue streams to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.

   • Assist in the preparation of revenue forecasts and budgets.

   • Conduct variance analysis and report findings to senior management.

2. Reporting and Documentation:

   • Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports related to revenue.

   • Support the creation of presentations and reports for internal stakeholders.

   • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

3. Data Management:

   • Gather, validate, and analyze revenue data from various sources.

   • Maintain and update revenue-related databases and systems.

   • Perform data entry and data cleansing as needed.

4. Process Improvement:

   • Identify and recommend improvements to revenue recognition processes and procedures.

   • Assist in the implementation of new tools and systems to enhance revenue tracking and reporting.

5. Collaboration:

   • Work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate revenue reporting.

   • Coordinate with other departments to gather necessary information and resolve issues related to revenue.

6. Compliance and Controls:

   • Assist in ensuring adherence to financial controls and compliance requirements.

   • Support internal and external audits related to revenue.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Educational Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Experience:

  • 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting, preferably with a focus on revenue analysis or financial reporting.

• Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.

  • Experience with financial software and systems (e.g., ERP systems) is a plus.

• Analytical Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to interpret financial data and make informed recommendations.
