Job Description Junior Software Developer Position Overview We are seeking a motivated Junior Software Developer to join our development team. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is eager to grow their technical skills while contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of scalable web-based applications. You will work in a collaborative, Agile/Scrum environment alongside experienced developers, gaining hands-on experience building modern software solutions and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of web-based applications Develop and support RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs Contribute to API documentation using tools such as Swagger/OpenAPI Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance and reliability Build backend services that integrate with databases and external systems Participate in code reviews and follow best practices for clean, maintainable code Support testing efforts, including unit and integration testing Learn and understand system architecture, workflows, and application functionality Document processes and contribute ideas for system improvements and scalability Collaborate with cross-functional team members in an Agile development environment Job Requirements Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or in progress) Understanding of software development fundamentals and requirements gathering Exposure to full stack development technologies, including: HTML5, JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS .NET framework SQL and database concepts Familiarity with Object-Oriented Design principles Basic understanding of Test-Driven Development (TDD) Ability to perform unit and integration testing Experience or interest in using AI tools to support development and productivity Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
