Job Description:
As a Junior Treasury Analyst at Augmentjobs, you will play a key role in supporting the company's treasury operations by assisting with cash management, financial analysis, and reporting. You will work closely with the Treasury team to ensure the efficient management of liquidity, optimize cash flow, and support financial decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities:

Cash Management: Monitor daily cash positions and prepare cash flow forecasts to ensure optimal liquidity levels. Assist in managing short-term investments and borrowing activities.

Financial Analysis: Analyze cash flow trends, bank statements, and financial reports. Prepare and present analysis on liquidity, interest rates, and currency exposure.

Bank Relations: Support the maintenance of banking relationships, including account setups, bank reconciliations, and resolving discrepancies.

Reporting: Assist in preparing financial reports, including cash position reports, cash flow statements, and treasury-related disclosures.

Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures as well as regulatory requirements related to treasury activities.

System Maintenance: Contribute to the management and optimization of treasury management systems (TMS) and other financial software tools.

Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as accounting, finance, and risk management to support overall financial strategy and goals.
Skills and Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

Experience: 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in treasury, finance, or a related area.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and financial software applications. Experience with treasury management systems (TMS) is a plus.

Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.

Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in preparing financial reports and analyses.

Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly.

Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) or progress toward such certifications is a plus.
