Do you love working with dogs and cats? Want to be part of a trusted team that makes pets feel safe, loved, and at home? We’re looking for a Full-Time Kennel Technician (internally called a Pet Pro) to join our team and care for our furry guests at their home away from home. Who We Are NVA Pet Resorts is part of National Veterinary Associates (NVA), one of the largest private owners of veterinary hospitals and pet resorts in North America. We’re committed to creating safe, loving, and fun environments for pets while providing best-in-class service to our clients and a supportive culture for our team members. What You’ll Do As a Pet Pro, you’ll be hands-on in both daycare and boarding, providing safe, loving care while keeping our resort clean and welcoming. Your day may include: Walking dogs and supervising playgroups Feeding pets and administering medications Cleaning and sanitizing pet rooms and common areas Monitoring pet health, behavior, and interactions Documenting care notes and communicating with leadership Engaging pets in enrichment activities like fetch, walks, and basic obedience games Comforting shy guests and managing high-energy groups Laundry and general facility upkeep And yes — you’ll scoop poop, clean messes, go home with fur on your clothes, and probably get plenty of sloppy kisses. What We’re Looking For We’re seeking someone who is: Passionate about dogs and cats Gentle, patient, and safety-focused Comfortable supervising multiple dogs at once Able to recognize and prevent conflicts in playgroups Detail-oriented with strong documentation habits Friendly and comfortable speaking with pet parents Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented You must be able to: Stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 60 lbs Work indoors and outdoors in various temperatures Handle large and small dogs confidently Work weekends and holidays Be comfortable around pet messes and cleaning products Work Schedule Weekend availability required Health, Dental & Vision Insurance for FT Career growth opportunities within NVA Equal Opportunity Employer NVA Pet Resorts is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace.
