Kitchen Assistant Apply
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated individual to join our culinary team as a Kitchen Assistant. Working closely with our Executive Chef and Sous Chef, this position offers an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about starting or expanding their career in restaurant and event food service.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in Food Preparation: Support the culinary team in preparing ingredients, chopping, and ensuring timely and efficient kitchen operations.
- Maintain Cleanliness: Uphold high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste.
- Inventory Management: Assist in monitoring and maintaining kitchen inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels for smooth daily operations.
- Collaborate with Chefs: Work closely with the Executive Chef and Sous Chef to execute culinary visions and maintain quality standards in food preparation.
- Adherence to Safety Standards: Follow all safety and sanitation procedures, including the proper handling of kitchen equipment and adherence to food safety guidelines.
- Support Kitchen Efficiency: Contribute to the overall efficiency of the kitchen by fulfilling various tasks as directed by the culinary team.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Passion for food and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
