Engineering Business Analyst (Financial Analyst) – Grade P3 Location: McKinney, TX (U.S.) This role supports Engineering Product Team Leads, Control Account Managers, and Program Leads in monthly Earned Value Management (EVM) inputs, reporting and analysis; monthly Budget Change Requests (BCRs); facilitation of EAC and LRE inputs; and cost and schedule control using APEX/SAP EV, IMS, and PMX management tools. Responsibilities Support creation of quarterly Estimated At Completion (EAC) and monthly Latest Revised Estimates (LRE) for programs, products, and mission areas. Perform detailed EVM and financial analysis for budget baseline, schedule, and EAC positions. Prepare forecasts, monitor actual costs, and document variances to plans and forecasts. Analyze cost and labor runs weekly and develop variance reports. Partner with engineering and program leads to input EVMS data, develop EAC/LRE, and forecast cost and schedule. Communicate findings and recommendations to drive predictable results. Qualifications Minimum 5years of relevant experience with an undergraduate degree, or 3years with an advanced degree in a related field. Experience using SAP, APEX, or similar systems. Proficiency with MS Office tools, especially Excel. Active and transferable U.S. government‑issued Secret security clearance required; U.S. citizenship required. Knowledge of FAR, DFARS, or other government procurement regulations (preferred). Ability to work effectively with coworkers and manage processes within a work area.
