Key Responsibilities: 

  • Infrastructure Management: 
    Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of IT infrastructure, including on-premises and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.). 
    Ensure robust infrastructure planning, implementation, and support to meet the organization's operational and business goals. 

  • Cybersecurity Implementation: 
    Implement, monitor, and maintain effective cybersecurity measures to safeguard infrastructure, applications, and data. 
    Conduct regular security assessments and work closely with the security team to enforce best practices, policies, and compliance standards. 

  • Vendor Management: 
    Lead the coordination with external vendors and service providers for infrastructure products, services, and maintenance. 
    Negotiate contracts, manage relationships, and ensure timely delivery and quality of service. 

  • Team Leadership & Mentoring: 
    Lead and mentor a team of 8+ infrastructure professionals, ensuring high performance and growth. 
    Foster a collaborative environment, provide guidance on technical issues, and conduct regular performance reviews. 

  • Project Management: 
    Manage and execute IT infrastructure projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget. 
    Apply project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) to track progress and communicate status to stakeholders. 

  • Troubleshooting & Support: 
    Act as a point of escalation for complex infrastructure and security-related issues, troubleshooting problems and coordinating resolution efforts. 
    Ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of IT systems. 

  • Continuous Improvement: 
    Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements in infrastructure management. 
    Stay current with emerging technologies and cybersecurity trends to continuously enhance infrastructure capabilities. 

 Key Requirements: 

Experience: 

  • Minimum 6-10 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with an L3 or Lead Engineer role. 

  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and on-premises infrastructure

  • Strong experience in cybersecurity, including risk assessment, threat detection, and implementing security best practices. 

  • Technical Expertise: 

  • Proficiency in infrastructure management tools, monitoring, and automation platforms. 

  • Solid knowledge of networking, server management, virtualization, and storage solutions

  • Project Management Skills: 

  • Proven track record of managing large-scale infrastructure projects. 

  • Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, ITIL, etc.). 

  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. 

  • Leadership & Team Management: 

  • Experience in leading and mentoring teams of 8+ members. 

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders. 

  • Vendor Management: 

  • Strong vendor management skills, including contract negotiation and performance tracking. 

  • Certifications (preferred but not required): 

  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) 

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, or similar cloud certifications 

  • ITIL Certification 

Skills & Competencies: 

  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, both on-premises and cloud environments. 

  • Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure and security issues. 

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
