Lab Operations Specialist Apply
Job Summary QC Lab Operations Specialist – 1st shift, Monday‑Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm schedule. This position performs compliance related tasks associated with the change management process (change controls, change control evaluations, corrective and preventative actions, and document workflows) to support QC External Testing operations. Typical Responsibilities Coordinating and/or authoring impact evaluations for Change Controls, Partner Notifications, and Supplier Change Notifications to QC External Testing processes and procedures. Initiating Change Controls, CAPAs, and document workflows in quality systems (Doc Compliance; Process Compliance) in support of QC External Testing operations in accordance with cGMP standards. Serving as primary point of contact for QC on cross‑functional teams to facilitate the advancement of projects. Supporting compliance and Regulatory related activities and requests. Executing and/or coordinating the completion of lab operations activities. Ensuring timely completion of activities impacting lab operations. Training and educating group members on processes. Collaborating with internal and external teams to harmonize operations and ensure consistency within quality control laboratories. Developing excellent communication and working relationships with QC personnel responsible for deliverables as well as cross‑functional team members. Identifying and communicating continuous improvement and lessons learned opportunities to the team and implementing solutions. Facilitating inspection readiness activities in QC External Testing and participating in audits and inspections. Qualifications You can effectively communicate issues and ideas with direct reports, peers, and with management. You have a strong ability to achieve thoroughness and accuracy when performing tasks. You can adjust to shifting priorities, manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. You possess excellent written and oral communication skills. Relevant experience in a GMP setting. Education & Experience Specialist – Requires a BS/BA in a scientific field and 2+ years of related experience. Sr. Specialist – Requires a BS/BA in a scientific field and 5+ years of related experience.
