Job Title: Lab Scientist
Location: Glendale, Los Angeles Area


Position Overview
We are seeking a Lab Scientist to support process development projects, process improvement initiatives, scale-down activities, technology transfer, and manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate must live within driving distance of the Glendale, Los Angeles client site. This requirement is non-negotiable.


Key Responsibilities

• Perform small-scale experiments to assess process changes and improvements.
• Evaluate new technologies and process changes by testing critical parameters and reporting results.
• Conduct trials and experiments and participate in the design and scale-up of new technologies.
• Perform routine analytical tests to monitor and control product yield, purity, and impurity profiles.
• Collaborate with lab team members to maintain and efficiently utilize the lab.
• Write SOPs, batch records, and develop research outlines for development projects.
• Utilize statistical analysis tools to draw conclusions from experimental data

• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Technical Skills:
• Knowledge of protein purification techniques and protein process development.
• Proficiency with analytical tools for protein analysis.
• Experience with DOE (Design of Experiments), Six Sigma, and Lean Manufacturing is a plus.
• Familiarity with GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices).
• Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively.
