Responsibilities Merck s Animal Health division, a BioTechnology Center of Excellence that manufactures, fills, packages and distributes vaccines for animals located in Millsboro, DE. Duties may include but are not limited to: Assist in washing, prepping, and sterilizing equipment. Document filter usage. Cleaning work area including tables, walls, and floors. Assist in the operation of the Parts Washer. Assist in the operation of the Beta Star autoclaves. Assist in the operation of the Waste Decon autoclave. Concurrent record keeping including logbooks and all pertinent documentation. Demonstrate at all times, safe work habits and maintain a safe work environment. Understands and complies with all safety and company policies and procedures. Assist in training new team members. Report all unusual, non-routine occurrences when performing tasks . Assist with performing non-aseptic procedures. Assist in reviewing SOP's. Assist in reviewing and signing off on all paperwork. Attend training classes, workshops, meetings, etc., as required to improve job skills and product-related procedures. ** Individuals must be flexible in both schedule and the willingness to work where needed. The position may be required to work in the following areas: 1. Wrapping and sterilizing in Class D environment. Autoclaving experience preferred but not required 2. Material Handler - walking outdoors / physically active - gathering supplies for production - must be on their feet 3.
