Capital Area Research is looking for a lab tech/research assistant to help in day-to-day activities for their clinical trials. Potential candidates looking for research experience prior to furthering their education or advance their medical career are also encouraged to apply.

Duties include:

Processing blood work, storing, and shipping biological samples.

Preparing source documents and lab kits prior to patient study appointments.

Accounting for and acknowledging intact receipt of Investigational Product.

Maintaining organization of study supplies and reordering supplies.

Maintaining accurate record keeping.

Data entry.

Assisting Research Coordinator with vitals, blood draws, EKGs.

Maintaining up to date training.

Follow GCP guidelines.

Ideal candidate:

BS in laboratory technology, biology, healthcare, or related field .

High commitment to attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to work independently and take initiative.

Strong computer skills.

Salary negotiable.
