Shift Details: 6:00AM - 6:00PM

DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities and Duties:
Responsible for manufacturing and assembling clinical and commercial products. Operates production equipment.
Weighs, measures and checks raw materials tenure batches manufactured contain proper ingredients and quantities.
Assists with in-process testing tenure batches meet specifications.
Responsible for validating processes and equipment that are directly related filtration, cleaning and sterilization. Responsible for the removal and disposal of waste chemicals, solvents and acids.
Creates solutions, powders, and liquids for batches meet specifications
Provides training support for on boarding or new procedures
Provides support the lead or supervisor when necessary
Provides continuous improvement recommendations or solutions support overall operational efficiency
Demonstrates the ability follow established procedures according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
Must follow all BD housekeeping policies and procedures
Must follow all BD safety policies and procedures
Must be able work overtime as required meet BD business requirements

Basic Skills:
Ability demonstrates strong teamwork and communication skills
Must be detail-oriented
Strong time management skills required
Ability operates independently

Proficient or Working Skills:
Must be proficient in English with the ability tread, write, analyze or evaluate charts, follow simple diagrams and perform basic arithmetic
Proficiency in MS Excel is required

Minimum Education and Experience:
High school with technical certification in the area of laboratory operations plus 3 years laboratory experience, AS degree in a scientific discipline with 2-3 years laboratory experience, or BS degree in a scientific discipline plus 1-2 years laboratory experience. BD04123JD
