Summary
- Provides work direction to and/or performs all duties of a Sr. Site Specialist to assure customer satisfaction.
- Monitors workflow to optimize staffing and services for the customer.
- Works closely with customers, sales representatives, and managers to ensure all service expectations are met.
- Delivers services including order entry, order management, operating customer procurement systems, stockroom services, material handling, receiving, lab cleaning/decontamination, and autoclave operations.
- Acts as a liaison between customer, sales, suppliers, logistics, and management to ensure successful customer relationships.
Responsibilities
- Assist in organizing staff and workload to meet or exceed productivity standards for Unity Lab Services.
- Support cross-training of associates and onboarding of new hires.
- Perform workflow activities in line with contractual obligations and standard processes.
- Serve as a subject matter expert to address customer and sales inquiries and resolve issues.
- Apply knowledge of customer service agreements, service level agreements, and relevant systems.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures and methodologies (including PPI).
- Collaborate effectively with diverse, cross-functional teams.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Engage in process improvement initiatives.
- Use inventory/order management systems for replenishment, disbursement, receiving, stock rotation, cycle counts, and order entry.
- Perform laboratory services such as order delivery, autoclaving, cleaning/decontamination, and biological waste processing.
- Maintain and reconcile reports to ensure partner requirements are met.
- Address and communicate customer concerns promptly and effectively.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma required and College degree is preferred.
- 2 3 years of equivalent experience, preferably within a laboratory or services setting.
- At least 1 year of detailed-oriented work experience in a GMP-regulated environment.
- Experience cleaning laboratories and managing inventory effectively.
- Strong customer service, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to operate handheld scanners and perform data entry.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.).
- Ability to lift, push, or pull 30 40 pounds consistently (up to 50 pounds occasionally).
- Capable of working independently at customer sites, following established procedures.
- Working knowledge of MS Office tools.
- Advanced MS Word skills (templates, styles, cross-references for figures/tables/sections).
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- High attention to detail and ability to perform under pressure.
