Job Description and Duties
Under the direction of the Warden, the Labor Relations Analyst performs full range of labor relations work relating to bargaining units, excluded employees, labor relations programs, procedures and assigned special projects. The Labor Relations Analyst is responsible for representing management in collective bargaining and contract administration activities and is the liaison between management and Labor Union Representatives. This position is considered Confidential pursuant the Ralph C. Dills Act.

Special Requirements
Possession of Minimum Qualifications will be verified prior to interview and/or appointment. If you are meeting Minimum Qualifications with education, you must include your unofficial transcripts/diploma for verification. Official transcripts may be required upon appointment. If it is determined a candidate does not meet the Minimum Qualifications, the candidate will be withheld from the eligibility list, rendering them inactive and ineligible to be hired for the position. Candidates who have been withheld may file an appeal with the State Personal Board.
Candidates new to CDCR or the Division of Juvenile Justice are required to submit to a background investigation process utilizing Live Scan fingerprinting, and Tuberculosis testing prior to appointment followed by departmental annual Tuberculosis testing/evaluation.

Examination Information:
This is a Supplemental Application exam weighted - 100 percent.
In order to obtain a position on the eligible list, a minimum rating of 70% must be attained in each phase of the examination.
