Job Description:
- Assist on DNA extraction and activities related to Next-generation sequencing (NGS) platform.
- Activities include but are not limited to tissue collecting and processing, extraction plus QC; and NGS library preparation, QC and validation.
- Work on optimizing and automating all the processes in the lab.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in molecular biology, Genetics or a related field
- Experience in Molecular Biology techniques such as isolation & quantification of DNA and RNA, PCR, and RT-PCR
- Basic understanding of principles and techniques for DNA extraction. Understanding library preparation and validation for Next-Generation sequencing using Illumina platform would be a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a matrix environment under critical deadlines
- Ability to work effectively independently and as a part of a team
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, written & verbal communication skills
- Basic skills in Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel
