Job Description:
- The selected candidate will assist on all routine lab activities related to Next-generation sequencing (NGS) library preparation, from tissue collecting to library preparation and validation.
- He or she will also work on optimizing and automating all the processes on the lab.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology, Genetics or a related field
- Experience in Molecular Biology techniques such as isolation & quantification of DNA and RNA, PCR, and RT-PCR
- Basic understanding of principles and techniques for library preparation and validation for Next-Generation sequencing using Illumina platforms
- Ability to work effectively in a matrix environment under critical deadlines
- Ability to work effectively independently and as a part of a team
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, written & verbal communication skills
- Basic skills in Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel
