ZeClinics is HIRING a Laboratory Technician!ZeClinics offers an exciting opportunity for a Laboratory Technician to be part of the team, whose mission is to provide an outsourcing solution for safety and efficacy screenings of novel chemical molecules using zebrafish. The ideal candidate would be responsible for performing experiments and support our Facility Manager in the daily organization of ZeClinics´s Laboratory.Duties of the Laboratory Technician will include:Perform the experimental tasks related to both scientific services offered by the company to third parties and research and development pipelines.Analyze the data deriving from experimental approaches.Ensure the correct use of defined laboratory equipment and maintain them up to date.Support the Project managers in redacting reports for clients (preparing the text and figures). Organize the data derived from the experiments and lab books to ensure full traceability of results. Support quality validation following GLP-like and GLP regulations and drafting SOPs.Support in regulatory studies if needed.StudiesHolding a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (and equivalent) in biotechnology, biology, biochemistry, biomedical laboratory science, or a related discipline will be necessary.Experience to valueProven experience with cellular biology, molecular biology, basic pharmacology, high throughput assays, and other biochemical, molecular, or cellular techniques will be mandatory.Experience with chemicals administration, microinjection, zebrafish biology, and husbandry will be positively evaluated.FELASA certification to perform scientific experiments with animals will be a plus.Additional skillsAbility to work independently and interact with several collaboratorsExceptional organizational skills with strict attention to detailAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlinesLanguagesGood command of Spanish is mandatory, knowledge of English both verbal and written, will be greatly appreciated. The OfferDuration: Indefinite contractTrial period: 3 monthsEstimated annual gross salary: ranging from 23.000 to 25.000 euros per year (depending on experience). Flexibility is required to work on weekends during peak service periods, with the preference for having two days per week where weekly and weekend schedules can be interchanged.Starting date: As soon as possibleApplication ProcedureAll applications must include:- A presentation letter addressed to Flavia De Santis and Anna Navarro (Project Managers)- A full CV including contact details- Two contacts for further referencesAll applications must be sent to the HR DEPARTMENT by e-mail to
