Job Description Join our dynamic team as a Technician, specializing in flavors, produce extracts, and blends. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality and safety of our products by performing a variety of laboratory tasks. Job Title: Technician Responsibilities Perform analytical testing to ensure product quality. Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment. Use laboratory notebooks to compound formulas and create sample products for evaluation. Prepare samples of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products for customers. Perform raw material testing. Keep accurate production records. Prepare, test, and maintain product retains. Follow good manufacturing procedures (GMPs) and good laboratory practices (GLPs). Ensure compliance with safety protocols and procedures. Create and maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and specifications. Perform other duties as assigned. Essential Skills Strong background in Chemistry and Analytical Chemistry. Experience with laboratory equipment calibration and maintenance. Knowledge of GMP, GLP, and CGMP standards. Proficient in quality assurance, quality control, and raw material testing. Familiarity with HPLC, GC, and titration techniques. Additional Skills & Qualifications High school diploma required; BS Degree in Chemistry, Food Science, or related field preferred. Experience in the food and beverage industry is an advantage. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proactive, efficient, accurate, and organized. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills. Strong math skills and PC software proficiency. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining multiple priorities. Ability to work independently. Color vision required for detecting color differences in products. Work Environment This role involves working in an environment with exposure to strong odors and chemicals. The position is within a small, family‑owned company that is experiencing growth.
