Lab Technician

A well-established company in Foley, Alabama is seeking a Lab Technician to join their team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Operation of computer-controlled lab instruments and computer data entry.
• Participate in CTS/ASTM proficiency testing, Round-Robins, and Gage R&R, as required.
• Promoting safety and housekeeping, keeping the work area(s) clean.
• Quality Lab
• The ability to accurately conduct diverse analyses that include Ash, Moisture, YI, DSC, etc.

Qualifications:

• A two-year associate degree (science field) or equivalent lab experience is required.
• Experience working in a lab environment.
• SPC knowledge.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• A safety-conscious team player that works with minimal supervision.
• Strong initiative and accepts responsibility for the validity of lab results, test records, and calibration checks.
• Green Belt Certification preferred

Compensation & Benefits:

• Position is full-time with a starting wage of $21/hour
• Day Position 8 Hours with occasional nights and weekend 12-hour shift
• Overtime may be required at times.
