Brief Description Vitalant is seeking a Laboratory Technician dedicated to making a positive difference. Support Vitalant’s life‑saving mission by operating within the laboratory handling responsibilities that include component production, labeling, record reviewing and data entry. What To Expect Schedule: Tuesday – Saturday, 04:00 pm – 12:30 am. Note: Must be able to train for 2–3 weeks Monday–Friday, 08:00 am – 04:30 pm. Prepare blood components through processes such as centrifugation, separation, freezing, thawing, washing, storage, sterile docking, transformation, and filtration. Ensure product quality, volume, appearance, and time requirements. Conduct labeling for routine and special components and implement quarantine procedures. Requirements High School or GED required. Previous laboratory or manufacturing experience preferred.
