Job Title: Lab tech - Technician, Innovation & SciencePrimary Location: 3520 Virginia Avenue, Narrows, VA 2412410-month contract - Onsite roleShift: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PMPay rate: $21.40/hr.Qualifications:5+ years of relevant work experience in manufacturing, process laboratory environment, or hands-on research facility.Mechanical acumen and chemical handling experience preferred.Experience with a motorized pallet jack is preferred.Employee must be able to work independently with limited instruction.Must be able to lift up to 50-lbs and move heavy items with assistance occasionally.Computer skills and the effective use of Microsoft Word and Excel relating to data manipulation and report generation are required.Responsibilities:Provide technical support by operating lab pilot-scale mixers, pumps, tanks, and high speed mechanical processing equipment according to a provided trial plan or procedure.Perform physical and visual quality evaluations.
