Job Description Location: Ramona, CA Duration: 4 Months + Laboratory Technician I – (Fractionation Lab - Ramona, CA) Pay Rate $14/hr. Description: Perform bulk laboratory operations such as fractionation of antiserum, dialysis, filtration and bottling. Perform various testing methods such as Heidelberger titers, total protein, OD280, IEP and SDS Page. Ensure compliance with all established quality requirements, standards, and scheduled deadlines. Collect, analyze and interpret data from in-process and final product testing to verify that products meet all specifications. Complete all work in compliance with established cGMP and ISO Quality System regulations, as applicable, to assure output meets established quality and regulatory specifications. Review documents and procedures and revise or create new procedures when appropriate. Write lab reports or project summaries as requested. This position requires manual washing of lab ware and general lab cleaning. Cross-departmental assistance with processing animal serum and other processing functions may occur. Qualifications Requirements/Abilities: High school diploma or GED equivalent Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Must have legible handwriting Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously Ability to communicate clearly and concisely Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently Ability to lift, push and/or pull up to 25 lbs. Ability to stand and/or walk for 2 or more hours Regularly reach with hands or arms Work with hazardous chemicals using appropriate PPE Experience with computer software in a business environment Knowledge of ISO and cGMP policies/regulations and laboratory experience preferred.
