Job Duties:
Assemble steel buildings for fixed-site agricultural customers after concrete is poured for buildings. Erect, place, and join steel girders, columns, laying metal decking and other materials to form structural frameworks. Proper use of hand and power tools. Tend pumps, compressors, or generators to provide power for tools, machinery or equipment. Position and dismantle, using bolts. Fix safety netting and edge rails. Clean jobsite. Work hours as determined by weather and customer needs. The work day may begin / end earlier or later on any given day and evening. Typical workweek is Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. - 6 p.m., with potential nights and weekends required depending on customer needs.
