Boiler Tube Company of America (BTA) is seeking a motivated Laborer to join our hardworking team in Lyman, SC. As an industry leader in providing boiler components, we pride ourselves on delivering quality products and exceptional service. The Laborer will be an essential part of our production workflow, assisting with various tasks that are pivotal to the fabrication and assembly of high-performance boiler tubes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the handling, preparation, and cleaning of materials used in boiler fabrication.
  • Support skilled welders and technicians by providing necessary tools and materials.
  • Maintain and organize work areas to uphold company safety and cleanliness standards.
  • Load and unload raw materials and finished products as required.
  • Participate in the ongoing training programs to enhance skills and knowledge within the industry.
  • Follow instructions and processes outlined by supervisors and team leads.
  • Contribute to team efforts in meeting production deadlines and quality requirements.

Requirements

  • Must have a high school diploma or GED (preferred but not mandatory).
  • No previous experience required; strong eagerness to learn is essential.
  • Ability to follow directions and work collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Physical capability to perform labor-intensive tasks and lift heavy materials.
  • Knowledge of or willingness to adhere to safety procedures in a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated reliability and commitment to attendance and work performance.
  • Flexibility to work additional hours or shifts as needed to fulfill production needs.
