We’re looking for a hands-on Lamination Supervisor to lead our lamination production line and ensure schedules are met under proper protocol. You’ll organize people, work, and standards - planning workflow, managing multiple priorities, reducing downtime, and driving process improvements - while building a culture of good work ethic, loyalty, and lean manufacturing. Success in this role requires proven experience in both lamination and frontline team supervision in a custom production environment. You’ll keep the team aligned through station boards and Fast Response routines, track and report TPP data, maintain world-class 5S line organization, and uphold EHS/Safety/EPA requirements, all with a sharp focus on customer satisfaction and internal quality.

Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Effectively lead, coach, and develop a large work team to accomplish operational objectives.
  • Problem Solving: Identify, diagnose, and resolve operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems within deadlines.
  • Production Execution: Plan workflow, manage multiple priorities, and meet daily production targets while consistently reducing downtime.
  • Continuous Improvement: Develop and implement process improvements needed for optimal department performance.
  • Quality & Customer Focus: Ensure production employees are focused on customer satisfaction and internal quality issues and anomalies.
  • Performance Tracking: Track and report on TPP data.
  • Communication: Communicate all updates and pertinent information from departmental station boards to production line employees.
  • Fast Response: Participate in and solve anomalies cross-functionally in the Fast Response program.
  • Engineering Partnership: Collaboratively and positively work with the Engineering Department to achieve the most optimal custom product we can provide.
  • 5S & Line Organization: Help create, implement, and maintain world-class 5S line organization.
  • Reporting Cadence: Report out in weekly staff meetings on progress and closure of weekly and monthly tasks/projects; report out daily in an accountability meeting on quality and daily work standards performance.
  • EHS Compliance: Maintain EHS programs for Safety and EPA requirements, including filters, material kick-off and disposal, and daily clean-up within company guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Lamination experience: Direct experience working on a lamination production line in a manufacturing environment.
  • Supervision experience: Proven track record leading, coaching, and developing production teams on the floor.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan workflow, manage multiple priorities, hit daily targets, and reduce downtime.
  • Ability to identify, diagnose, and resolve operational/manufacturing and maintenance problems to deadline.
  • Experience implementing process improvements and sustaining lean/5S practices.
  • Clear, consistent communication using departmental station boards, with accountability to TPP tracking/reporting.
  • Participation in cross-functional Fast Response problem-solving.
  • Collaborative approach with Engineering to deliver optimal custom product outcomes.
  • Working knowledge of EHS/Safety/EPA requirements, including filters, material kick-off/disposal, and daily clean-up within company guidelines.
