Summit Development, LLC is seeking a sharp, motivated Land Acquisition Analyst to join our growing team. This role combines real estate financial analysis with project-level support for land acquisition and development. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of critical thinking, financial modeling, market insight, and the ability to support deals from concept through execution to help drive the development process forward.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Receive and provide an initial response plan for all new leads from outside sources.
  • Source and evaluate potential land opportunities through broker outreach, cold calls, networking, and market research.
  • Perform initial feasibility assessments, including zoning research, entitlements, utilities, and general site conditions. 
  • Coordinate title research, environmental and geotechnical reports, surveys, and consultant input during the due diligence process.
  • Participate in the preparation and negotiation of Letters of Intent (LOIs) and Purchase & Sale Agreements.
  • Prepare internal deal summaries and assist in compiling investment presentations.
  • Run basic financial models and assist in comparing projected performance against budget benchmark.
  • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Real Estate or related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in real estate development, land acquisition, or financial analysis.
  • Working knowledge of real estate transactions, zoning and entitlement processes, and the key steps involved in evaluating land for development.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to summarize conclusions and confidently present well-supported arguments for or against a specific investment opportunity.
