Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain client relationships
• Successfully manage projects – including creating scopes of work, professional fees, project schedule and manage accounts receivable
• Extensive knowledge of standard practices of land surveying in the State of North Carolina. Comprehension of practice in coastal areas is a plus
• Ensure projects are handled in a professional manner from beginning to end, including meetings, communication and deliverables
• Create and/or oversee maps, plats, survey certificates, construction staking with the ability to sign and seal items as necessary for clients or municipalities
• The physical ability to work in the field on the rare occasion it may be necessary
• Oversees and trains individuals to operate total station, level, GPS and data collectors for use in the field

Requirements:

• North Carolina Professional Land Surveying License
• 10+ years of experience in Land Surveying
• Excellent grasp of Land Surveying techniques, the ability to lead and teach surveying team members and great communication skills
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel and CAD (AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Microstation)
• Valid NC Drivers License
