We have partnered with an engineering design and consulting firm in the Cornelius, NC area to provide them with a Landscape Architect / Land Planner Team Lead. Please review the below description and let us know if you are interested.

Prioritized Must Have Skills for the Landscape Architect / Land Planner Team Lead:

#1 Must have a Professional LA or Certified Planner License.

#2. Must have at least 5 years working as a professional Landscape Architect/Designer in a land development office setting.

#3. Must have experience with developing and following a formalized QA/QC program.

#4. No more than 3 jobs in the last 10 years.

Requirements of the Landscape Architect / Land Planner Team Lead:

  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited Landscape Architecture program is required.
  • Must hold professional registration as a Landscape Architect or be a Certified Planner.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a professional Landscape Architect/Designer in a land development setting is preferred.
  • A strong and varied project portfolio, showcasing a diverse background in the field.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary work environment, with the flexibility to manage shifting project priorities and multiple clients.
  • Strong capability to manage deadlines while ensuring adherence to local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in freehand illustration and rendering, with strong graphic skills in both sketching and finished designs.
  • Familiarity with local codes, ordinances, and public agency standards related to land development and entitlement processes.
  • Experience in developing and implementing a structured QA/QC program.
  • Ability to design and manage projects, including rezonings, site plans, and landscape plans, ensuring compliance with municipal codes and ordinances.

Other Key Requirements:

  • 100% in-office role.
  • No sponsorship or Visa holders. No Corp-to-Corp.
