A growing landscaping and horticulture company is seeking a Landscape Gardener / Container Specialist in Cohasset, MA. This full-time role requires 2–4 years of professional gardening or horticulture experience. The successful candidate will manage container gardens, seasonal plantings, and landscape maintenance for residential and commercial clients throughout Cohasset. Responsibilities include installing, maintaining, and designing plant arrangements, while ensuring healthy growth and vibrant outdoor spaces. Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and design container gardens, planters, and landscape beds in Cohasset properties.

  • Perform pruning, fertilizing, pest and disease management to maintain plant health.
  • Conduct regular landscape maintenance, including watering, weeding, and soil care.

  • Monitor plant growth, troubleshoot plant health issues, and implement horticultural solutions.
  • Safely maintain and operate landscaping tools, irrigation systems, and outdoor equipment.
  • Assist with seasonal planting projects, including spring and fall container installations.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in landscaping, horticulture, or container gardening.
  • Knowledge of plant varieties, soil types, fertilization, and pest management practices.
  • Ability to operate hand tools, power equipment, and irrigation systems safely.
  • Physically able to perform outdoor labor in various weather conditions.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Basic understanding of landscape design principles preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
