Position Summary

Open Range is seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven Landscape Sales professional to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our landscape design and installation services to residential and commercial clients. You will leverage your knowledge of the landscape industry to build relationships, understand client needs, and provide tailored solutions that enhance outdoor spaces.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting new clients to closing deals in the landscape services sector.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets while building long-term client relationships.
  • Conduct on-site consultations with clients to assess their needs, provide recommendations, and create customized landscape solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals that effectively communicate the value of our landscape services.
  • Collaborate closely with the design and project management teams to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging landscape products to effectively position our services.
  • Participate in networking events, trade shows, and community engagements to promote Open Range and generate new leads.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline status using CRM software.

Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Horticulture, Landscape Architecture, or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of sales experience in the landscape, construction, or real estate industry.
  • A proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong understanding of landscape design principles and horticultural practices.

Personal Attributes

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage clients and build lasting relationships.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A passion for landscaping and outdoor design, with a desire to stay current on industry trends.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills with a results-oriented mindset.
