We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Landscape Service Salesperson to join our team at Grow Control Landscape. The ideal candidate will have a combination of landscaping experience, strong sales skills, and the ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for generating new business, maintaining customer relationships, and driving growth for our landscaping services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Lead Generation:
    • Actively prospect and generate new leads for landscaping services, including maintenance, installation, and design.
    • Follow up on leads from existing customers, referrals, and marketing efforts.
    • Identify customer needs and offer tailored solutions that align with our service offerings.
    • Conduct site assessments and prepare accurate, detailed quotes for potential clients.
    • Close sales and meet or exceed monthly sales targets.
  • Customer Relationships:
    • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with both new and existing clients.
    • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
    • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and follow up on service requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Product & Service Knowledge:
    • Maintain a deep understanding of our landscaping services, including maintenance, design, installation, and irrigation.
    • Stay informed about industry trends, new technologies, and best practices to better advise clients.
  • Administrative Duties:
    • Input sales data and customer information into the company's CRM and other software tools.
    • Prepare and process contracts, invoices, and service agreements.
    • Coordinate with the operations team to ensure timely execution of projects and services.
  • Team Collaboration:
    • Work closely with the operations and field teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
    • Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to sales strategies and goals.

Requirements

  • Landscape Experience:
    • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in the landscaping industry, with a strong understanding of services such as lawn care, irrigation, design, and maintenance.
  • Sales Experience:
    • Proven sales experience, with a track record of achieving or exceeding sales goals, preferably in the service or landscaping industry.
    • Strong negotiation, closing, and lead-generation skills.
  • Communication Skills:
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish.
    • Ability to present and explain services clearly and persuasively to a variety of customers.
  • Technical Proficiency:
    • Comfortable using computer software and CRM systems to manage sales, customer data, and service records.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other sales tools.
  • Licensing & Legal Requirements:
    • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
    • Must possess a valid California driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Personal Attributes:
    • Highly motivated, self-driven, and eager to sell.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing client needs.
    • Positive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work in varying weather conditions and environments.
  • Ability to visit client sites and perform site assessments, which may include walking, bending, or light lifting.
