Our client is a leading provider of aggregate trucking and hauling services in the Central Texas area. We specialize in delivering top-quality materials to landscaping yards, ensuring our clients have the resources they need to succeed. We are a vertically integrated trucking company with rapid growth and a strong scalable network of contract drivers to support any size project.

Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Territory Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for expanding our client base and increasing sales of our aggregate materials. As a Territory Sales Representative, you will be responsible for calling on and selling to landscaping yards, introducing our products, researching potential clients, negotiating terms, and managing ongoing accounts. With demonstrated success in the Dallas market, we are expanding our client base to Austin, TX and surrounding markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Acquisition: Identify and approach potential landscaping yards to introduce Garcia Hauling & Trucking’s aggregate materials.
  • Market Research: Conduct thorough research to understand market trends, identify potential customers, and analyze competitors to provide competitive pricing.
  • Sales Presentations: Effectively present our products to landscaping yards, highlighting the benefits and competitive advantages.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate pricing and terms of sale to ensure mutual benefit and satisfaction.
  • Account Management: Maintain strong relationships with existing accounts, ensuring their needs are met and orders are fulfilled promptly.
  • Reporting: Provide regular updates and sales reports to the Sales Director.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the trucking, hauling, or landscaping industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Knowledge of the local market and landscaping industry is a plus.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented.
  • Lanscaping supply experience a plus!

Benefits

  • This is a commission-only position, offering 7% of the gross profit on all sales, including both new and existing accounts and orders.
  • Total expected annual compensation in the first year is 100k+ (for full time)
