POSITION: PART-TIME EMT/PARAMEDIC LAB ASSISTANT - HALL CAMPUS
- Assist faculty members with classroom and lab instruction, exams, record keeping, adherence to safety procedures, evaluating lab skills of students and other miscellaneous tasks related to instruction
- Tutor or mentor students
- Accompany instructor/students to clinical setting and evaluate student performance, as needed
- Clean labs as needed
- Obtain materials needed for classes, including texts and other materials
- Maintain qualifications for employment as described by TCSG and accreditation standards
- Follows ALL deadlines as established by Lanier Technical College
- Follows rules and regulations as mandated by TCSG policy manual and Lanier Technical College
- Assist with special projects or initiatives as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent. Successful completion of State approved Advanced EMT or higher course(s), and have obtained National Registry certification;
- BLS certification required;
- Ability to obtain BLS Instructor certification within the first 6 months of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's degree or higher; ACLS/PALS certifications
- National Registry Paramedic with 3 years experience (experience can be divided between a National Registry AEMT and also as a National Registry Paramedic).
- Instructor in NAEMT and AHA disciplines.
NOTE: This is a temporary, part-time position that is appointed on a per-academic-term basis. This is an hourly-paid position; up to 29 hours per week while classes are in session; Monday - Thursday workweek.
