Job Description TIG & Laser Welder (1st Shift)

We design and manufacture high-quality, precision flatbread processing machinery in the United States. We are a growing, privately owned manufacturer with multinational customers and a strong commitment to U.S.-based manufacturing in California.

We are seeking a skilled TIG & Laser Welder to join our fabrication team on 1st shift. This role is primarily TIG welding (approximately 70%) with laser welding making up the remaining 30%.

The ideal candidate is highly skilled in TIG welding of thin materials (18-gauge), produces clean, consistent, cosmetic welds, and has strong heat control. While laser welding experience is preferred, on-the-job training is available for candidates with basic familiarity.

• Perform TIG welding (70%) on thin-gauge materials with a strong emphasis on clean, cosmetic weld quality

• Perform laser welding (30%) on metal components (training available if familiarity exists)

• Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings

• Assemble and fabricate metal components to specification

• Perform sanitary welding where required

• Operate plasma cutting equipment for material preparation

• Perform pipe threading and occasional stick welding as needed

• Inspect welds for quality, accuracy, and consistency

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

• 5+ years of TIG welding experience

• Strong heat control and precision welding skills

• Experience welding thin materials (18-gauge) with cosmetic finish requirements

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings

• Ability to perform basic mechanical assemblies

• Experience working with sheet metal and fabricated components

• Ability to commute to South El Monte, CA

• Laser welding experience (1+ year preferred; training available)

• Sanitary welding experience

• Experience in food, pharmaceutical, or equipment manufacturing environments

• Clean, organized fabrication environment
