Launch Engineer Apply
Job Description:
- Have an engineering degree ideally in mechanical engineering.
- 5 years experience in CAD design (preferably 3Dx or Catia V5)
- Been involved in at least 3 automotive program launches (6 months before SOP until 3 months after SOP)
- Front / Rear Bumper Fascias experience preferred
- Other Exterior ornamentation and / or Frontend Module experience a bonus
- Experience on root cause analysis
- Ecube reviews / measurements
- Organize / lead metrology resources to produce the dimensional results (scan for instance) for proper root cause analysis
DOE
- Familiar with fish bone, 8D's,
- Hands on experience (himself or directing activities through drawings, PPT's, )
Capable of coming up with quick countermeasures to fit issues.
- 3D print solutions
- Tape, foam
- Grinding, cutting,
Capable of directing / mentoring people on the line to accomplish proper installation of our portfolio of components (point #3)
Must Haves:
- Experience with automotive exteriors/interiors
- Experience in assembly/manufacturing environment through launch
- Hands on experience modifying parts for form, fit function (quick problem solving, grinding, punch, direct rework, technical design solutions)
