JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and certified Clinical Supervisor to join our team at Insite Health. The LCSW will be responsible for providing psychotherapy and other mental health services to patients with mental health conditions. At Insite Health, we provide services to all ages, however the primary focus for this position is working with the pediatric population. In the role of Clinical Supervisor, the therapist will provide supervision to LSW/LACs, and oversee all related requirements as outlined by the state board. The successful candidate will have a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping patients improve their mental health.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide psychotherapy and other mental health services to patients with mental health conditions, such as anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
  • Provide evidence-based therapy to the pediatric population and the necessary resources to families
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients mental health status, including their emotional, behavioral, and social functioning
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that are evidence-based, culturally competent, and tailored to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists and primary care physicians, to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, based on patient response and feedback from healthcare professionals
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and communicate relevant information to healthcare professionals as needed
  • Provide individual and group supervision to designated staff
  • Through direct and in-direct observation, assess supervisees growth and development to determine clinical readiness
  • Ensure supervisees have knowledge of and adhere to ethical guidelines
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families, including information on mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources
  • Participate in ongoing professional development activities, including continuing education and peer consultation
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to mental health services
  • Adhere to ethical and professional standards of practice, including maintaining confidentiality and obtaining informed consent from patients.

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in social work, with a focus on clinical social work
  • Current state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
  • Completed the necessary course work as outlined by the National Association of Social Work to be an eligible clinical supervisor
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience providing psychotherapy and other mental health services to patients with mental health conditions
  • Minimum of 2 years experience conducting assessments and utilizing evidence-based treatments with the pediatric population
  • Knowledge and experience about supervision models and effective methodologies to promote development of supervisees professional skills set and competence
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively build relationships with patients and collaborate with healthcare professionals
  • Strong clinical skills, including the ability to conduct thorough assessments and develop evidence-based treatment plans
  • Experience using electronic health records (EHRs) and other healthcare software to manage patient records and coordinate care
  • Knowledge of mental health conditions and treatments, and an understanding of the challenges faced by patients with mental health conditions
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical and professional standards of practice
