This role is focused on maintaining and providing technical support for applications in their operational stage, working closely with development teams, infrastructure partners, and clients to resolve technical incidents and ensure seamless application performance.
Position:- Full-time, hybrid role based in Manila, responsible for troubleshooting and supporting applications, managing incidents, and ensuring compliance in a highly regulated environment.
- Utilize ITIL Change, Incident, and Problem Management processes.
- Lead Major Incident calls to resolve production issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Troubleshoot and debug system components in complex environments.
- Collaborate with various teams to resolve issues and optimize applications.
- Support disaster recovery, certificate renewals, and audit requests.
- Identify and implement automation for application monitoring.
- Manage pre-production/production deployments and vendor upgrades.
- Monitor and mitigate risk in day-to-day responsibilities.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in application support or related fields.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- Hands-on experience with distributed systems (Unix, Linux, Windows, SQL/PLSQL).
- Mainframe troubleshooting skills (COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, etc.).
- Experience with scheduling tools like CA AutoSys, Control-M.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) and middleware platforms (Solace, Tomcat, WebSphere).
- Scripting skills in languages like Bash, Python, Shell, etc.
- Experience with ETL tools (Informatica, Talend).
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (Splunk, Dynatrace, Grafana, etc.).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to coach and build collaborative teams.
